Ann,

Thank-you for the kind words. However due to the nature of my subjects - I know that I will come underfire by a lot of folks, but that is okay. However I do plan to start posting images that are not military related in the very near future. Again Thank-you for your kind words.

Best Wishes,

Chuck

Chuck I think you've captured these 2 soldiers doing their job very well. Political inferences aside they are just doing their job and you've somehow managed to capture that feeling under what look to be difficult cirumstances all around. I've seen much worse images posted here on UF of squalor and mamed children and even dead people. Those I consider to be shocking and in very bad taste. Your images don't show bad taste. No gory, bloody or gruesome images. Just vehicles or soldiers at work or in thought. Again I say good job on capturing these soldiers just doing their job....as you are doing yours.

Cheers - Ann

Chris,

Thank-you for the words on veiwing the photos and sharing your thoughts - I know I'm gonna come under a lot of fire for these images - no pun intended. However I do plan on posting some other images (not military in nature) in the very near future.

Best Wishes,

Chuck

CHUCK, I HAVE NOTICED THE PAST FEW POSTS HOW GOOD YOUR PHOTOS HAVE BECOME, YOU ARE DOING VERY WELL AND YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE ALOT OF PATIENCE TO RESPOND TO THE COMMENTS, I TRY TO UNDERSTAND HOW SOME OF THESE PEOPLE FEEL BUT THIS IS ONLY A PHOTOGRAPHY SITE WE SHOULD PUT ASIDE WHAT IS HAPPENING OVER THERE AND JUST COMMENT ON THE PHOTOGRAPHY SIDE OF THINGS AND YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY IS GOOD SO KEEP IT UP REGARDS TRACEY..

Hi Chuck, I think due to the political nature of your shots you will come under some fire yourself. Staying neutral and sharing these as a photo journalist takes some courage. I think we all should try to view all images shared here for photographic merit and interest only. This should be a forum where we can feel free to get others input and leave the politics at the door.

Great detail in the shot, Chuck, and I think you've caught the concentration of the two soldiers doing this demanding job.
Dave.

Is it alright to kill innocent people by shooting that missile?
Imagine you are sitting with your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grand father, grand mother, and few relatives around, and then
BANG
,a stupid Ar****** yankie shoot that missile to them.
I remember that I read a news over internet about killing many innocent families by an unmanned American aeoplane. They had a dinner party somewhere in Pakistan near border around a month ago.
Just one boy lost his 28 members of his dear family !!
Is it right?
If America is a powerful country, why don't send soldiers, without those funny sun glasses around to arrest people, rather than send an unmanned aeroplane and drop 10 or more missiles on poor people without seeing them???
Where is the justice in this matter.
Have you won the fight yet, just ask yourself? NO, you can't. BECAUSE that boy who lost 28 members of his family would HATE you all of you from his gut.
So you can't win in that injust occupation, never and never.
Just remember these two soldiers have families too!!!!!

I understand that you are showing your images her mainly for technical knowledge exhange, but I think you should be more sensitive about the content that you show, this image for example makes one wonder how many it has already killed! Some of us have families and relatives over there among whom you call terorists!

Fadel,

Thank-you for being respectful, but please feel free to critique my images and tell me what I could do better as a photographer. On a different note I really enjoy looking at your digital art - If you don't mind me asking are you a Graphic Artist - Your stuff is really awesome and you have a very creative mind.

Best Wishes,

Chuck

I'm trying to avoid saying a word on your images, but this one really hurts in the core!
