Hi John.. sincerely i have very apprecaited this shot, so simple..and so noised, but also for this one very cool! the mode and the composition, with a particulra light in the wing, is fantastic.. out of the darkness have the silhouette.. well done, and my best wishes.. roby 7

Actually, Hugo, I rather liked the noise and new it was in the image when I was making it. I even experimented with some art filters to exagerate the effect, but they all fell apart when it gets squished to 800 pixels. Cheers - JB

Southwest Airlines and I think it was a Boeing 737. I am off to do a week of photo shooting, so I will be quiet now!.

Hi John... A point&shoot camera is essential during long flights...:) Love the golden light on the wing tip, as well as the tones in the background. A pity about the digital noise, though.
Cheers,
Hugo

I'm trying to identify the plane. I do a lot less flying these days than a decade or so ago (thank goodness) and I don't recognize the upswept wingtip. Lovely colour chord there, John.

Grainy grainy. I like. Interesting... sounds ilke a hellish travel schedule though... I have something similar coming up... but... eventually we WILL get together. :-)

Was you getting a little punchy John?? I think maybe I would crop some from the right side for more of a verticle format. That red really stands out. Don.
