Hi Hilton, yes, a wierd shot this - the texture not quite right - my hubby says is looks as thought you've spray painted it with varnish?? :)
A magnificent wave though - that I do have to add.

Hi Hilton, I had an s602z too, but one of the reasons I wasn't too happy with it was that no matter how good the lighting situation was (as in this case, I recon), the tones come out a bit unnatural. Other than that, a very spectacular shot! Very well timed, considering the shutter lag...:)

I'm not much for comments that I'm about to make, but I think it is true in this situation. Cropping the top of your image to remove the straggling cloud on the edge of the frame would strengthen your image. Less that this is a very nice seascape photo.
