Well ! all the best Steve, hope ypu will fight of this winter and take care. For us in Kolkata and the eastern part of India the winter is almost over, yesterday the high was around 35 degrees centigrade.

End of winter! It's not fair. Our worst winter's weather is supposed to reach us tonight. I love the photo. It reminds me of a fine Chinese carving in slate. Well done!

I know 50 Countries is a really small amount, but still I think its an achievement. I have also been very lucky to have visited a few countries. Please do come and visit India, Im sure India has changed a lot and we are having our "incredible India" tourism campaign from 2005 to 2006. Im sure you will love your visit to India.

Yes my life has been a well traveled life to be sure in all sorts of countries around the world. You know.... I tried very hard to get to India in my 30's and always got side tracked and ended up in other countries instead. I never made it to India but always wanted to go there. 50 countries is really a small part of this large world compared to many people's travels but also a lot compared to others. Maybe one day I will get to India but the world is so large it would take more than one lifetime to see it all. Perhaps in another life... :)

Yes we too are getting early blooms already here in the states too. A nice interesting tree with all it's twisted branches. Makes for a good silhouette against the stark sky.
