Hi Hugo,your comment was much appreciated.As far as I remember the fuzziness effect was the result of the soft glow filter and curves followed by much burning and dodging.I discovered the potential of this small square whilst playing around with a photo I had taken of it a couple of months ago.Last night ,after converting it into B/W, I became interested in its tonal and geometrical possibilities so, this morning ,I rushed down there again and took some more shots including this one.Glad you liked it.There'll be some more!
Hi Tony, Excellent perspective, you created! the symmetrical layout of this image fits well, as I believe such a shot can only be static to create it's impact. I'm curious if you did anything to this image to create the fuzziness of the tiles, it's nice and wooly, as if covered by a thin layer of water...Very interesting effect.
