Interesting observation Hugo. The image was shot as a vertical, and I cropped it to 4x5 to reduce the wasted space, mainly at the top as I remember. (I'm away on travel at the moment and don't have access to the original image to confirm that.) I think there's more space on the left than on the right for two reasons. First, it gives him some room to walk into the frame, and second, it was probably a convenient alignment to have one of the focus sensors on one of his eyes.
Hi James, classic, powerful and impressive bull. Majestical animal, captured in it's true glory. Just curious: why did you change the aspect of this image? Just a bit of guessing on my side, the composition does give me a feeling it was taken in landscape format, where a portrait format is arguably more suitable for this type of "official portraiture" the slightly bigger space on the left side seems to subscribe this theory. Either way, it's not really important, as it is still a very powerful shot. Excellent catch.
