Hey Ralf... Fantastic photo. Got to be deserving of an award. Reminds me of the Alfred Hitchcock Film The Birds. A ghostly haunting feeling to this shot. Your photographic eye which captures everyday life is quite remarkable and stands out in your excellent portfolio. The depth the fisheye lens gives to this image is outstanding. Look deep into the picture and the ship in the background can be seen with ease. This is a brilliant example of how to use a fisheye lens because of the angle it is taken something that can't be changed in photoshop. This is defiantely the next lens for my collection.

this is an awesome shot. great choice of B&W and the very wide angle shot is superb. the contrast of the birds to a dark and bright background in one pic is a real treat. i think this shot deserves a staff choice award!!!

Birds against the dark sky and birds against the light sky. Birds far and near. I think you nailed the exposure on this it looks great. Nice choice of B&W. Looks like you may have had some dust on your lens - or maybe it's just sun spots. It doesn't bother me... I've heard you can clean the CCD on the Fuji...nice camera.
