I've looked at your "Brazilian Baroque" series with great pleasure and I'm doing it again with this Greece series. Outstanding! You know how to work on your shots and bring out exactly what turns the photograph into art! This one is amazingly beautiful! Gabriela

Terrific palette, clarity, and composition. The building looks almost unreal. Nice!

hi Barbson! thanks for the comment! this pic was done using a plug-in added to the Photoshop, called Virtual Photographer, created by the OptikVerve Labs. you can find it in the web for free, i guess. little sized and with lots of nice effects. the option used was "copper" graduated about -15, effect "saturate" and secondary option B/W "picker". then i used another normal filter called "render", option "lighting effects - default" sub-option "spotlight" inclination about 130 degrees clockwise for the shadowy areas at left hand, graduated intensity +35, focus +69, gloss 0, material metallic +97, exposure 0, ambience +8. after that i refined the effects with burning, dodge and lighting/contrast tools, then added over it a second layer with the colored original with opacity about 20% and erased all save little areas in the grass and sky. then added more burns and dodges till finish. then saved "for web", re-opened the JPG file and sharpened, and saved "for web" again within this site's allowed size. and that's all. all this effects can be varyied at will for subtler detailing. regards!

It's really beautifully done, sky is amazing. I wish however that you would comment about how it was done, settings etc., I hope to learn from this site, but can't if it's only a place to view beautiful photos!
