Nice composition Michael. Bravo. You got a lot of nice detail in the white and enough contrast to pop him out of the light background. Well done.

Really nice guy, I do love it. When I first knew that guy, I thought what a cutie guy(s). After that I knew what a social animals the meerkats. So, very lovely tiny animal. Very pretty pose, well detailed photo. Nice work dear Michael! :)
My best wishes! Robert

Hi I really like this shot, i'm surprised it stayed still. keep up the good shots. meerkat's are one of my favorite animals. i guess thats why i keep ferrets, cause i can't have a meerkat! they are very similar in personality, and for treats ferrets will stand up like meerkats too! thanks for the nice comments on my photos.

I like the composition and tones, it's different from the usual Meerkat shot, Chris.

Love it, Michael! Super work in brightening the meerkat and really making its eyes shine! I think if the stump had a bit more contrast it would look like full-on professional work. The title is cool too. I wonder if the meerkat's vision is something real or simply something it's imagining - anything in the viewer's imagination could fill that space to the left. I happen to know that the shot was composed in the viewfinder and not by postwork crops, and I like it. Well done for a great post Michael!

Good shot, gets a little borring, but it works. Te crop is hard, maybe some more tree would be nice.
