Thx for your constructive comment and honest thoughts Kim. I agree with your points with regards to the ND filtering missing and the sky being to bright. However the point of focus is the reflection in the water making it hard for the eye to focus anywhere which is the idea. This shot is done with 35mm negative and with limited gear as I am in the middle of the nortwestern Norwegian wilderness, however an ND filter wouldn't have taken much space :)) Thx again :) I appreciate your thoughts :)
I noticed that this image didn't have any comments, so I'm giving you my honest thoughts: This image is lacking a point of focus for my eyes... the snow capped mountains, reflected in water would have been great, but they were cut off at the bottom of the frame. The sky feels just a bit too bright as well... if you have a ND grad. filter or even a polariser it would help to balance this out. It was a still, calm day, and the reflection is like glass... a very nice touch! Is this somewhere where you can get back to to try different framing and filters (if you have any?)?
