This picture was taken mid day, with the clouds just thin enough to allow the sun to filter through. I was at about 50 degrees latitude so it was cold and the sun did not rise high above the horizon. The Northern Boreal Forest is different than anything I have ever seen. It is gorgeous. Stay tuned...
