Beautifully shot my dear Janet....little uns will always find something to use fingers and mouths for....bless them.
The composition itself is great with a bold crop and wonderful mono tones. We are drawn to the fingers and the trapped insect immediately but you also take in those long long eyelashes.

you have the talent to make the cutest shots! Perfect soft tones and shallow DOF. One thing I really like about this shot is that the focus is on the bug but his eyes are on the same focal plane. So the focus emphasizes the two important things just perfectly. He is all concentrated on the tiny little bug.

Ladybugs are part of our 12 mo old's diet too! Wonderful softness here and the tones do an excellent job of highlighting those eye lashes! CUTE shot that documents this short-lived infatuation with ladybugs. Thanks for the idea...i might need to do the same.
