Finally the pocket bike craze have hit our shores. For those of you who don’t know what this is, these miniature bikes are powered by air cooled, 2-stroke 49 cc engines. The max speed is about 40mph and their fuel tanks can carry 1.5L of fuel. As for the riders, their ages range from 6-year olds to teenagers. These bikes are colourfully and tastefully painted to represent the original machines.
Many teams have sprung and recently I spent several hours photographing an ‘open’ championship organized by a local club. For the sake of guarding against accidents, safety gear are mandatory.
I am going to share with you guys some interesting images and in order to save time, I will omit this ‘about’ in the forthcoming uploads.
