Some people have a knack for doing just the right thing and one of those people would be you. I love how the fog difuses the background and increases the sense of speed as this kid goes zooming down the hill. I love the ghostly mysterious mood here. Where's he going and why is he going so fast and is someone chasing him? This is wonderful. Your work is a joy to see.

Gosh, Gayle, don't get offended because I failed to read the About, and thus missed your comment.
Chill, girl. It's all good.

Gayle I love this, especially because he's got that hooded jacket on. It adds so much to the mood and the mystery, I think I would have titled it 'ghost rider'. Excellent shot straight out of the camera. Nice crop..great presentation, wonderful work!!

Cool effect around the little fog rider/ghost rider! I like the fact that you can't see his face or hands - adds to the mysterious mood... I think you're right about the 'glow' around the boy - probably the white of the bike reflecting off the mist in the air. Either that or he's breaking the sound barrier! :)

Here is the original 72dpi for UF upload (and the same dpi from my Costco CD) and at 500 pixel required for attachment at UF...you can see the foggy mist around bike/boy...i didn't know how to erase the foggy mist white halo on and around him, thus it stayed...not only do i never try to hide what i do if i edit an image, but what would be the point of doing such? I don't mind suggestions, but don't assume something if you haven't even bothered to read the about where i state what has and hasn't been done to edit my image...i must say that i find such comments quite offensive...

It's a nice shot, but your dodging of the bike & rider is instantly apparent. It might have been more subtle if you try again with brush using soft light mode and a white palette. I'm just sayin'.
