other side of railway .looking across to eccles/burham those white houses up on the downs towards medway just head in that direction.very peacefull loads of bird twitchers all over the place at weekends ,i go over there every week and i still find something different each time .

ahhh manu i know this place .good too see another view from the lense.spend a lot time over there you should venture over towards the river side of the lakes very picturesque at the moment.

I like the way you have divided the frame in two. Giving equal share to both the beautiful and not so beautiful.
Perhaps a longer lens and tighter crop to bring that contrast closer and giving it more prominence may have also been an option.

The sombre, understated colours work very well in this dark image. Many of my own photos, like yours, are taken while walking our Shetland sheepdog. I know the smell of a paper mill and I'll bet it doesn't STAY behind the treeline!
