Grain works so well with fog I think. I adore the fog and tried to make the most of it while it was around last year. Looks like this was a great place to sit and wait patiently. You did good.

I always enjoy foggy images and they are challenging to do well but you have captured this one very nicely. Simplistic but enough interest to make it a great shot. well done Gayle.
I'm still lurking and post as time allows. Cheers - Ann :)

Another moody and beautiful image Gayle, I really like the delicate drooping tree branches in the fog and your patience did pay off, the people really add to the atmosphere, very nice diagonal in your composition too!! Nice work!! I don't see a lot of fog here or snow either, but I bet you'll get some good ones, I'll be looking forward to them, hugs!!

I love this - especially the two people alone together. The whole world looks foggy to me now. One more week to go before I get my eyes fixed.

Hi Gayle,
what a great foggy story! I love that hints of outlines, nature and man. the diagonal line in the front make the cherry on the pie IMHO. I guess this image would not be the same using digital technique.
best wishes, Thilo

This ones very nice too. The only thing is shots like this always make me think of loneliness or alone so the 2 people take away some of the stark strength / message IMO. I would clone out the shorter person on the left and then it would be a stronger, near perfect shot I think. Mark

like the mood of this image...not that easy to shoot in fog and still make the image expressive and interesting.. nicely done...

Gayle, There is a lot to this seemingly "simple" image. Of all the interesting elements - and there are a number - the strong diagonal line created by the walkway takes this image to another level in my opinion. Super! Mark
