I was just thinking about this technique. Taking pics from low or high or off angles and trying to get some depth, not just DOF, in the shot. There is an art to giving a photo depth. It does not come easily,. You did well on this one. Edges and angles... makes the photo live.

With a little bit more work and some perspective or lens-using adjustments can make this image much more beautiful.
