Great mood and great lighting, the only thing that would have been better is if you had used a vertical format, that would have included the top of the Eiffel Tower. Where is this location bu the way, my wife and I are to spend our 10th anniversary in Paris and would love some shots like this.

That's me and my girlfriend... the truth is that the picture has been taken by chance, I still was a "digital beginner". I decided to log in Usefilm.com while I was searching, by google, some shots taken with a EOS 300, Canon 28-135 Mm F/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens.
I would buy that camera. Do you think it can be the right choice for a SLR beginner? My goal is to start with a "non dedicated", multipurpose lens, clear and sharp in average shot, to achieve the undestanding of what are my really needs about lenses.
What do you think about?
