About After many years of lower than normal rainfall, we finally got the rainfall that we desperately needed. So much so that between October 2016 and February 2017, California averaged 27.81 inches of precipitation, the highest average since such records began being kept in 1895. So needless to say, everything around us is green and blooming. I will try and find the picture I took of this area about a year ago when it was all dirt.
