About	The Saturday after Michael Jackson passed away, I went to Harlem in New York City. Thousands of people gathered around the famous Apollo Theater which bears a silent testimony to the rise of the pop legend. Amidst shouts of 'We love you, Michael', I found this teary-eyed man holding up a beautiful painting of Michael that he had made. 27th June 2009, Harlem, New York City.

The split frame works very well indeed. Your images following the death of Michael Jackson are a good example of the power of photography. Although I've never really been a fan (not really my type of music) I do feel compelled to view your uploads because I can appreciate the importance of documenting these type of social phenomena. And I get to see some great images too.
