Thanks kind Sir... These were in light shade, so took the hard work out of it really... It has been so dry here, but getting the odd inch of rain means we're getting these popping up...:)))

~~GRIN~~ Michele... It is the craquelure creating the texture/grain... We have been lucky, every ten days or so, we have been getting almost an inch of rain... Not drought breaking, but hopefully a promise of things to come...
:))) Glad you like these cute little fungi... within 24 hrs, they were a melted brown puddle on the grass...:)))

Thanks kindly for your lovely words... I love grainy textures and B&W... so, usually when I play in PS, or sketch with charcoal/pencil, or paint, it ends up with a build of medium... LOL, sometimes to the point of 'I should have stopped 1/2 and hour ago' feeling...:)))

WoW !! Soooooo happy You got rain since I know You do need it....( right?)
Love the grainey texture , unless it is what you are calling craquelure(?) cause it does look sort of cracked too... but I like it and the tones, and the entire family :)) Great light and shadows as well !! A very well done composition my dear friend :))
