About: I think this is a great site, especially for someone like me who has just taken up photography as a hobby. To be able to share ideas and information with such a wide group is marvellous. I live in a beautiful place, Dunk Island and it is the surrounding beauty which has motivated me. I have had my Minolta 600si for four or five weeks now and I love it. I've got a lot to learn but I enjoy it all so far. I get excited thinking about future projects. I look forward to all of your comments especially negative because I want to improve.
