Q. Hi Al, Karma, Charisma, Ratings, Top photo etc etc

Hi Al, just have to let a little frustration go here. I know you all have 5 million things to think of and do, and i know that you are doing a good job......BUT i can't understand why some things take so much time eg. I suggested bringing back the FAQs (i even offered to write them myself for you) surely this would be a way of answering all these postings about Ratings etc. How do they work, why etc. We have to read so many postings to find an answer (if we are lucky). What is the excellent, abuse thing for on comments? What is considered a Top photo, that now is supposed to be working. Who are the staff that pick Staff choice? who are the moderators of the different forums. K:updating C:updating has been stuck since the "new site" started. My own personal profile has been stuck for weeks even though i mentioned it and have received ratings since then....... There are a lot of UF users out there with a lot of questions and some dissatisfaction. Think about the new members, what do they think of all this. On the front page the last official statement from UF is Apr04 and says updating :)
Don't get me wrong here. You still have my support, i still think it's a good site but i would like more info. I've put this posting extra in the donor forum so not everyone will be influenced by these (negative) remarks. Please don't keep us in the dark. Make a statement and we can all get on with enjoying our photography!
