About It was taken on my way to work on Veterans' Day. I arrived at the office later than usual and noticed the unusual light conditions. On a regular business day, there is a lot of people coming in or out through this entrance (mostly smokers taking a breath of fresh air). That special day, I had the place all by myself. I opened the door to get rid of a sign, moved in position and waited for the traffic to clear up behind me. I had only one shot left in the camera. I got lucky.

The negative was scanned with an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo scanner.

Thanks for your comments. Regards, Claude

This is how I prefer to do self-portraits; at work. There are so many light interactions with objects in this picture, and it plays out very well.
