Thank you for your nice comments. These benches are actually quite spread out. Most of them are from my area, but a couple are in Wisconsin, and one is even in Canada. Benches are everywhere! My quest goes on :)

Bottom left does it for me. A combination of the tranquil surrounds and the warm sunlight breaking through the trees to make it's way onto it... nice.
Wonderful collage Kathy. Well thought out, presented and of course, taken.
Loved reading the comments from others. Didn't know how widespread the bench addiction was!!! Here's one I've kept in the closet for a while now. Not as much character as your lot - a bit of the "less is more" thing I go through now and again :)) - but that's because I'm not ready to come out just yet!

Ann had a good idea with you making them into note cards. you could call them "Bench Notes".
Did you format this in photo shop? I don;t have PS but my son does...i have a very limited editing program.

I think it sounds like a plan. A day in the life of a park bench. Could find some real characters there. You could also be labelled a stalker and be arrested for lurking in the park all day but let's hope not.

I didn't realize how many bench styles there are until I started to photograph them. Susie suggested that someday (preferably in the summer :)) I should find a bench and sit behind it for several hours and photograph the different people that come to sit on it. I think that sounds like a great idea, how about you?

Ha ha Kathy...I was just saying to Kelly that she has a bench fetish as she's photographed a few of them and has a few in her portfolio but yours is a bench addiction. I think you need help. ;) Please call 1-800-BENCH-HELP. (joking of course) :)
I love this and as a matter of fact I've put it into my favourites. I think you could split these up, find a couple more benches, have a dozen pack greeting card set made and market them. They're all wonderful scenes. I'd forgotten just how many you had in your own portfolio.

Hi Kathy! Cool poster for benches! I love the collage. My favorite is the one on top center, it looks more like a modern sculpture. Great variety and choice of orientations. As far as shots go, I like the lower R/H corner, the two facing each other. Well put together! Have a nice weekend, Ina
