A terrific photo, Larissa! I love the juxtaposition of the super clear left with the blurred but recognizable scene on the right. For me the photo is a metaphor of how the entry into a situation can seem so clear, yet the situation itself can end up more complex and more distorted. Very well done, indeed!!

Congratulations on DIOD. The title really suits your wonderful picture. The contrasts between the crispness of the door knob and the unfocused interior make a wonderful composition.

I am enchanted by this shot? I like the perfect details in foreground, but I like I still love more the blurred people, this scene lets perceive a mystic atmosphere, a deep silence and a moment of solitude with their own thoughts, love it!! Hugs, Max

like the idea, this motive on the left is really wonderful as well as composition; for DOF I would prefer a little bit deeper DOF
anyway, like it

This does not really fit into project #51,Larissa
The blurry image project,or the min.depth of field project would be best....this is an excellent photo with a beautiful tone, excellent dof,and nice clarity on the door...the title is perfect and the subject matter is very interesting...also composed superbly!
Congrats and i hope you receive a front page award so many will see your fine image!

This is realy a "dramatic" shot, this sense comes from the angle you have choosen, it tells a story of those blurry characters behind the door. this is one of the great samples of using minimal D.O.F for creat some special and intent feel. very nice work. i suggest you to change the project from #52 to #6 Minimal Depth of Field.

Very creative shot. I might have screwed this shot up by having endevoured to have had the monks in focus too but you saw it right! Great work.
