About This is the area that we were in yesterday. Sedona is in the middle left down in the canyon. I wanted to show this grand old tree and what it sees every day.

Beautiful photo, Don, and superbly presented, as ever.
Best regards, Chris

Such a beautiful scene, Don. Great vantage point for the shot. If only the tree could enjoy it as much as we do.

Hey George, you seem to have firt hand knowledge about this place. It is a beautiful view of the valley. I have some shots showing more of the red rocks. Thanks for the comments. Don.

Didn't I see a new Chevy parked there on TV? Yeah. I can't begin to count the number of commercials that have been shot here. Once upon a time, long, long ago, this was one of the better make out places. But then, that was when West Sedona was still called Grasshopper Flats.

Christian, the car was right behind me... You can drive right to this point. Gravel, rocky road but very pretty. Thanks for all the nice comments. Don.

Oooh Don - can't you just picture having a house here and drinking in this view every day? The framing is really super, and you have certainly done justice to this old tree. Nice detail in some of our high desert rocks and soil, and the details continues all the way back. Great DOF. Thanks for sharing this one!

Striking ! The light was marvelous.
I don't know how you got up there, but it was well worth the effort.

I knew this looked familiar.
I've been to this exact spot when we visited Sedona.

What an awesome view, gorgeous countryside.

Good one Don,
Lori :)

That tree has a beautiful view, Don, and thanks for bringing it to us to see, too! I like your composition with the tree in the foreground, giving way to that magnificent scenery beyond.
Dave.
