I've never shot lightning but I thought the idea was to mount the camera onto a tripod and leave the shutter open on bulb for a good few minutes or until you know you captured the desired amount of lightning. Of course I'm probably wrong cause, as I said...I've never done it. You've done a nice job of this though. Sure you can clone out the house blur if you want. I enjoy the lines of the house and silhouette of the trees framing the lightning. Great capture. Cheers - Ann :)

Nice capture Bob, lightning is very difficult to get. I see a little movement when looking by the house, see a faint outline in the sky. Great shot though. Chris
