It's odd, as that book is only about one of four that I have read in my life (with the exception of 'how to' books)...and while I never made it up to Peshtigo, it's a place I have in mind to visit....especially the cemetary! (almost went a few years back, but was talked into the House on the Rock instead) And lastly, I live in WI....hmmmmmmm
Thank you, M G, you kind of spooked me!

Nice shot.
This reminds me of the book "The Deep End of the Ocean"...the photographer mother takes a fall trip to a cemetery in Peshtigo, Wis with her son to take pictures...its an important trip for them both.
Nice perspective...your shot here and, in my opinion, any trip to a cemetery.

The thumbnail does not do this photo justice! Such vibrant reds with the still alive, green grass, beautiful! Love how you framed this with the hanging branch.

In a rut? Are you insane? Cemetaries are not easy subjects to photograph but you made this one beautiful by virtue of selecting the fall leaves as your main subject (if that makes sense...)
Amazing warm reds on green Janet, and the presentation is perfect.
Go you good thing! Cheers Rina

Sombre setting and such a contrast in subjects for you Janet. Having said that, it is well executed...beautiful Autumnal (Fall) colours and i do like it. Well done, best wishes . Ray

Very different for you Janet....the kids must not have been with you! This is really nice with the vignetting and the great red leaves in the f/g. The frame is just right too.
