Yeah, thanks Sally !
The shutterspeeds are so high because that Sony F717 can be used in nightshot mode ! If you buy one, be sure to add not only the Hoya R72 infrared filter (or another ir filter), but also 2 Neutral Density filters (i use ND 8 + ND 4 stacked on eachother) to avoid over-exposure. That because the aperture is fixed to F2 and shutterspeed is not faster than 1/60" in nightshot mode. So one can only play with EV-correction to search the best exposure for a scene.

An amazing shot! Composition, detail, contrast - everything! I just love it, and the sepia makes it even better than the colour version. Your IRs are great, congratulations! I can only learn. And thanks for taking the time to comment on my attempt at IR.
Best regards,
Denitsa

Another super IR shot - I like this better than the part colour version - 'cos I think the sky is just a tiny bit too blue in that one.
I always look forward to your IR shots - your 'Alley II' is one of my all-time favourites!
You even inspired me to look for a second hand Sony F717 on eBay last night - your shots appear noiseless and your shutter speeds are fast!
