Dear Roger, they are lovely, aren't they?! The colour is soooo beautiful and the flowers are big. I saw several such creepers covering balconies and fences and blooming profusely during our recent trip in Nagano. I also took some shots like this one.

Johannes, thanks for such an encouraging comment! It's an old-fashioned entirely manual film camera, and I'm using mostly old, inexpensive lenses. But these beautiful flowers came out well...
