Let's see...because of all the textures and angles and the feeling of strength that they give??? The shadows, the colors...I like this!!

Maybe you were a firefighter in a previous life? Just kidding! They are many people's fav. subject: the bright color, the cracked paint, the raised letters (for lack of a better word). There are many styles around and they could make a nice series. I like the red framing, too.
