Easy to see why Gamal was thrilled with the portrait Mohamed. Yes it is blurred? Yes it could be better contrasted. But it is beautifully framed (even though I don?t like to see titles on the images?)
There are pictures which apart from of all apparent ?flaws?, manage to convey a true feeling, a genuine sentiment. This is such a picture ? I understand why Gamal liked seeing himself this way! Fine work.

This IS a 7! Superb lighting, I love the softness and the shadows. Besides it seems to me that your friend Gamal is a very sensitive and wise person - this is the expression on his face. Congratulations!

It is a great portrait, despite its technical flaws being somewhat blurry. "A true work of art is the creation of love, love for the subject first and for the medium second" (Elliot Porter, Photographer). You have made a great job conveying your passion, your feelings towards your friend. A very successful portrait
Congrats

A beautiful portrait and the use of natural light is superb.
Shame that it is a little soft.

But it is a fine picture of a dear friend and that is all that matters.

Mark

Wounderful Portrait and good presentation , a piece of white paper near the dark side of his face , will make it more brighter .

Antonia BauerleinSehnert   {K:30599} 8/23/2005
This is a very special portrait. He does look lost in thought. The soft focus adds to this effect and, while this would otherwise be a flaw, it is not one in this instance. Antonia

Very nice portrait indeed Mohamed with great composition, I like the grainy effect in here as well and converting it to B&W is really cool, I only wish it was sharper with more focus, for sure we all need faster lens in dim light condition,
very well done,
Regards,
