Thanks Mary! Happy you liked the composition. I have to admit that this aurora was not very impressive to the eye. In fact, it was very faint and just barely seen and lasted just a few quick moments before fading to invisibility. The camera managed to catch it.

Hi Sanjeev,
An active aurora is certainly a true wonder of nature. To see them moving and dancing across the skies, and constantly changing shapes and colors is hard to describe in words..... really just amazing!! In rare cases when the entire sky is filled with auroras from horizons to horizons all the way overhead is an experience that rewards with memories for a lifetime.

good photo to see dance of auroras is an experience in itself i saw it on tv but to see it live is living a magical moment. u are lucky in ur sky light dances like some estatic dancers drunked and wild on her own tunes.
