This photo raises lots of questions. Are you the one who was sitting in that empty chair? Is the young woman a friend? Is she turned away because she is cross with you or because she's looking at someone else and a complete stranger to you? I think the thin row of things just visible along the top would be better out of the picture, which would unify the colours in that brown/beige/gold area...
