Nice one! I see you're still in contention for the APOY competition. Great shot of the dog running along the railway. Have you got anything exciting lined up for the next round?

Beautiful job freezing that water. The shallow DOF also works well to keep the image from being too busy with the drops further behind well out of focus. Eric

The Langer likes, no loves, this one! It sort of reminded me of the Sun giving off bursts of gas. Lucky too with little hints of colour on the bubbles. I ve seen many many shots like this but they usually show the whole object in the water. If you hadn't said tomato and inverted it a lot of people would be scratchin' their heads tonight! Larry

Hi Don,
I fired off around 40 exposures. I could have posted a lot more but I picked what I thought was best and left it at that.

Much better in colour, in my opinion, Shane. Very minor criticism: there is a tweeshy speck at the top right on the black frame line which should have been cloned out.

Superb shot, agree with Hugo`s statement. Neat image is really awesome, apply it myself sometimes. Here it shines because the tones of water droplets and reflections look almost unearthy, yet not overdone (sometimes Neatimages` tones are plastic-like, a caveat).

Hi Shane, spectacular dynamism in this photo. the bright red creates a helluva nice contrast with the grey background. Also, the very shallow DOF, blurring out a few of the splashes, and creating an effective difference between the few that are in focus, making them the primary subject of this photo. The highlights in them, livening up the scene add the finishing touch. Spectacular shot...
Cheers,
Hugo

Wow, Shane...fantastic image with bang on colors and extra sparkle and focus/DOF.
No flash?
Still not convinced on the red outline.
Cheers mate and very well done.

Ceratinly Colour looks better than B&W. Two reasons we are able to identify the tomato and the color red is attrative. Neat image has done wonders for this image. If you can stop down the aperture to f16.0 then the water details would be better. just my view.
