The Cathedral in Milan is the largest in Italy (yes, even larger than St. Peter's in Rome). In this image, the cathedral is viewed as a reflected image in the window of a bank building located across the street from it. The modern white and red image which was painted on the window creates an interesting interplay between the modern world and the Gothic world of the cathedral. Further, the white arrow / pointer seems to be serving double duty ... first, as a pointer towards the heavens, and secondly, as a form that mirrors a shape repeatedly used throughout the cathedral.
Wow! Risky composition but original idea Mark! I love it! Mixed up gothic design with modern, upshot this fantastic abstract vision! Great work! Best regards! Robert
