Reading the comments about how to go about getting the trees and sky on the land to be as colorful and sharp as the reflections in the water seem to be more colorful and sharper than the trees on the land.
Dave, Thanks for your comments -- I understand what a polarizer could do for this, but what would a screen do? Wouldn't it make it even softer? And no, it wasn't hot or humid -- a beautiful fall day in SC -- 70 degrees.
Nanette, Thanks for your help. Actually I did see the circle both when I took the photo and when I cropped it in an attempt to emphasize the circle.
A painterly image. I wonder how this would look if taken through a screen, maybe with a polarizer. I get a cold feel from it; strange, since I know it was probably hot and humid.
