Hi Wez... thanks for your comment. i don't know but maybe the flourecent lights on the pillars ,which really look out of place, caused the overexposure. actually i took the shot when the guard wasn't around so it was a hasty shot. :-)

Nice image with strong colours. If i were to suggest anything, then the lighting is overexposed and proves to be a distraction. I would also have moved slightly to your right to give some symmetry to the shot.
Overall though i like it. Ive been in many of the temples where you are not allowed to take photos.
