Intersting and unusual shot Evelyn... and I like it a lot! The white part of the flower looks alomost like a pearl nestling on the plant's tongue! Well exposed, composed, 'painted'...

Thank you, Bjorn -- I am honored to be added to your friends list. It will be fun to watch what you post as well -- you have a varied and skillful set of images already. You are correct; this pic was blurred on purpose to create more of a soft airbrushed feel to the shapes and then I noticed the shape of the ice cream cone in the very center and thought it was fun. Is that what a bee sees? Dessert in the center of the flower? Thanks much for commenting!

I love flower images, and you seem to have a very lot of them, so I hope you don't mind that I added you to my friends list. I love this picture, very nice macro, with a gerat color. However, it lacks a bit of sharpness, was that intended? It turns out all right though.

One magnificent macro, with outstanding composition. Positively sensual - and outstanding. :)

Never thought of a flower that way, but now that you've shown this I'll be thinking of that when I look at flowers. Mary
