Great capture Nacho. I like about everything in this picture. Color, composition, posture of the subject. The expression of the man (friendliness, pride, thoughness) gives it all cohesiveness and character... aren?t cubans something?

Nice photo, but the composition is too static and centered. I would suggest placing the gentleman towards one of the sides of the frame. Perhaps in this case, towards the left of the frame, and include some more of that road he has travelled on, showing more of a story.
I like the low camera angle (implies respect for the subject, since we are "lookin up" to him) and the eye contact, as well as the fact there is plenty of room around the rider, it doesn't feel claustrophobic.
I hope you don't mind the long comment.

This is a lovely portrait. There is a lot of sunlight -- not the optimum time to capture a portrait because of the dark shadows that the contours of the face cast upon each other. However, this image works. The color is beautiful, and his skintones really look great. I love your vantagepoint looking slightly upward at the man. Also, you have composed the image quite nicely, with the path curving to the right and back, and the man and his bike are well-positioned against the foliage -- nothing cut off. Your about endears this to me even more. 90 hours is so many to work. His bike looks as if it has worked just as hard, although he appears to be a vibrant man. This is a wonderful piece of history.
