It looks so delicious that I wish I had your diet buster :))
(I am having a diet for 7 weeks and I lost almost 10 kg - at the same time I stopped smoking)
A wonderful composition and technically excellent!
I like the colors - the red, green and the black and yellow tones are in a perfect contrast.
You choosed your arrangement very carefully and so tastefully, big congrats!

James, Thanks for your comment. For the border, I used the linear gradient tool in Photoshop. I set my foreground and background colors to red and green and then dragged the tool across the screen diagonally. Gradient option was set to "foreground to background". Hope this helps.

very good still-life. again, nice colours and very simple approach. i'm about to experiment with different fruits in thailand in making a still-life. hope to have some good results.
regarding the border, usually i dont like them, but in this case, the multi-coloured border complements the fruits. how did you make that border anyway?

The lighting on this is gorgeous... food shots can sometimes be hard to make look appetizing... this does NOT have that problem! What did you drizzle on top to give such a nice glaze?
The one thing I could do without in the border though... keeps pulling my eye away from the main course!
