Lovely curve and just the right moment with the pedestrians having rounded the bend. BW is lovely, and the highlights from the gleaming tracks, her hair and the other objects play off one another and help to weave our attention through the image. The darks play in a delicate way here in the tracks, foliage, clothing and fence and guide my eyes in the same manner, which is nice.

As for your query re "Youth," thanks very much for your kind remarks, and by all means..yes. Antonia

Excellent B&W capture Ken, the composition is brilliant with lovely curves :-)

As Alastair says, this is just a perfect submission for B&W and your toning is very good indeed :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Great shot Ken! I love railway lines as a subject (so many possibilities!) and this is fantastic. I love the sinuous shapes and the way they are repeated and the two people add some interest and scale. Black and white suits it perfectly too...
Well done!!!

Ken, this is really fine, I think. The repeated S-curves are wonderful in themselves, and the inclusion of the couple adds a nice human dimension--both in physical scale and emotional connection. The b&w serves you well in this one.

Best regards,
--George
