Ali, I love this image - the beautiful shadow is redolent of gothic architecture - specifically rib vaulting from a springer. What is that lens you are using?

First up - thank you for your comment on "the competition" - that done - onto your image...
very interesting abstract - for such a simple household item. The geometry is certainly eyecatching - with the shallow DOF giving a great felingof depth.
Agree with PJ - might have ben nice not as tightly coposed/cropped - but is still a very very nice image as is.
