About I thought this was an appropriate but not a political statement...it was just amazing to find a McDonald's in the middle of frozen farmland in the heart of nowhere...This is also the first picture with the new D70 - this is a truly amazing camera!

It was a thought and you expressed it with a camera so why woudn't it be appropriate, political or otherwise? It's a great shot and I'm sorry its not mine. If you got PS go to IMAGE - ADJUST and then SELECTIVE COLOR you can get something like this.

i'm far from a PS expert, so i can't help you too much. i don't know how easy it would've been to get more exposure on the sign, and not have the snow totally blown out. wish i could help you! cheers,
