I think that happens all the time. For example, we take the ice and snow for granted in Canada and Sweden. We live in it every day, in the winter. I find that people from other parts of the world are fascinated by these snow scenes as we are by desert sunsets.

Thanks - the thing is to realy see it - I wonder how many times I have just gone past (and still do) equaly good places (and problaby better) and never even thinking of taking a picture of it.

Hi Mats,
Great use of the shadows in this shot. From this one and a lot of your other landscapes, I can see we live in similar enviornments.
