interesting work here. you have a very nice portfolio with nice works. i like the emotional aspect of many of your pieces, here with the woman gazing and the children onlooking at the viewer. nice dim lighting and exposure also.
Hi Philip, I really dont get it! you deserve more comments than you get! You have a very powerful portfolio. Full of emotions, drama and stories behind every pictures! Your shots goes directly into people's heart, and that's one thing I wanted to achieve on my works.
In this particular scene, I see poverty, I see loneliness, I see a hunger, not only hunger for food but most especially hunger for attention.
Technically, the soft b&w tone and the lighting is always perfect for such a scene! And as I always say, I hope that this reaches people's heart, just like the kids from the window trying to reach inside.
