About I like the layers in this pic. I dunno...I like having rocks in the way of the rest of my pic. Kinda cool for the eye. I'm feeling much better today. Friends truly are the best therapy paired with very little/easy hw. And lots of comments on my images. *hint hint*

Yeah, and when I saw the comment you left on my cop car pic I thought: "Well...duh...it's a cop car! They /are/ black and white." I kinda had the feeling you were trying to tell me something.

Of course we're UF friends! What's a "flip" anyways? I've just been really busy with my life lately (break up with my bf, tests, track everyday after school...) but things are starting to quiet down.
I'm sorry your pic was censored. I think the reason they censored it (even if it was true or not) was because people were getting uncomfortable. I mean, this /is/ a site for art. I get uncomfortable sometimes when I read your rants (but since I'm pretty easy-going I can usually look past my lack of comfort). There're other sites for political stuff you can always go to to vent. Don't get mad, I'm just telling you the facts.
Ooooohhhh...I understand what you mean by thirds now! I was kinda confused before, but the tic-tac-toe thing really helped. Okay, I'll start trying that.

I'm in a bad mood, my shot was pulled yesterday cause of some political comments so the WTC shot is the original, the title is different and the comments are a second very short version. Anyway, you can't do 2 things at once like this - I mean you can (cause every rule can be broken) but VERY rarely. So either you choose the rocks or the lake. You have to start doing "rules of thirds" .Draw a tick tack toe thing then draw a square frame around it. Put that grid over every shot - for example, the rocks shouldn't go past the right third side - you have them out way too much. The eye has to find a point to go to or it will just blur out. Study composition - go to that giant book store downtown and get a Photography book by Henri Cartier-Bresson. Probably the best Photographer ever. Study why his pictures work. His stuff too old for you get something by Herb Ritts at least. Matthew Rolston, Ralph Gibson - these guys are the masters. You gotta understand why their photo's work. Anyway, that's that. I'm still in a bad mood, I don't like to be censored - and it was all true so what's the problem? BTW, why you getting so flip on my shots? I did a flip on your cop car - does it sound good? come on - I thought we were UF friends.......
