This really tells the story of the wind. You can see in his posture that he is driving against it, and the grains of sand creating a mist tell the rest. The light, color and shadows are wonderful! Congrats on the award. This is so beautiful.

oh wow, this is breathtaking. The composition is just perfect. The light and colors couldn't be any better. It is fascinating how the sunlight shades the sand so beautifully. There are even nice rim lights at the edges. The scene itself would be impressive enough but having that person standing up there fighting the wind and sand blowing gaves the whole scene scale and perspective. As beautiful as it looks we are reminded how harsh the desert really is.

This is one of those photos that you look at some time, enjoying the different aspects of it, leave a comment, then go back to take it in again. Beautiful composition, so dynamic with the sand and shirt blowing from the wind. Excellent lighting and colors. If I were to have taken this shot, I would be worried that I might never again top it.

Gorgeous shot, love the whole feel of the over all composition, the sand against the blue sky , really gives this shot sharp contrast. One can feel the wind blowing as you captured the sands movement very well. I love the lonely figure at the top of the dune, making for the feeling of accomplishment!
