Ken - looking at the picture again I think you are right - However, perhaps the title for the picture tends to draw too much attention to the birds themselves, especially when they are such a very small part of what is a very dramatic landscape scene. Maybe best for the viewer to discover them as part of the picture. - All the best - Jeff

Well, Jeff, to me I guess the birds are an accent to the cloud reflections off the wet sand, so I would keep the sand even if the birds weren't there. But your version is fine too, just a matter of personal taste. Thanks for the suggestion!

Ken - I think this a wonderful landscape shot of the sea and cloudscape - but i feel that the birds are lost a bit in the overall scene - I have attached a cropped version of the same photo minus the birds - what do you think? - Jeff
